POSBOP Terms of Service

1. Service Scope & Acceptance

By subscribing to POSBOP or paying the custom installation fee, you agree to these Terms of Service. POSBOP provides cloud and offline-first software for store counter registers, M-Pesa reconciliation, inventory tracking, and multi-branch management.

2. Setup & Subscription Fees

• Installation & Onboarding Fee (KES 17,000): A one-time non-refundable fee covering initial M-Pesa webhook integration, ESC/POS thermal printer setup, product catalog migration, and cashier staff training.
• Monthly Subscriptions: Tiered monthly fees (KES 2,000 Single Outlet, KES 3,000 Multi-Branch, KES 5,000 Multi-Business) billed in advance.
• Zero Transaction Commissions: POSBOP does not deduct transaction commission percentages from your M-Pesa or cash sales.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for maintaining valid Safaricom Till/Paybill merchant credentials, ensuring counter internet or local device connectivity, and safeguarding cashier login credentials.

4. Service Availability & Support Hours

POSBOP maintains an offline-first architecture to protect counter sales during internet outages. Field support is available daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM EAT, with 24/7 emergency escalation for critical register interruptions.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to resolution in Nairobi, Kenya.
